SOPRANOS

TRINITI GISTAND has been singing for as long as she can remember. It wasn’t until she got into Madrigals at Castro Valley High School that she realized music would be in her life forever. Although she has decided to join the National Guard to accompany her path to become a surgeon, she will continue to keep music in her heart with church, choirs like CHORAL AUDACITY, and karaoke sessions at home. While studying under Laryssa Sadoway and voice with Darita Seth, Triniti has had many amazing opportunities to perform at beautiful places, such as Carnegie Hall, Chicago and many Golden State Competitions. Triniti is extremely thankful for these teachers and experiences because it has shaped her into who she is today, someone will always love music. Triniti.jpg
MADELINE ALBRIGHT is a recent graduate of Castro Valley High School. During her years in choir, she had the incredible opportunity of being apart of both her school’s Concert Choir (Acapella) for 3 years, and their Chamber Choir (Madrigals) for 2, both of which were 1st place winning choirs at last year’s Golden State Festival. She toured to Chicago and New York City, where she performed at the prestigious Carnegie Hall. Madeline also had the honor of serving as Co Choir President her senior year, as well as had a lead role in the musical “Guys and Dolls” this past spring. She was directed primarily under Laryssa Sadoway, and often with former Chanticleer member Chad Runyon. She will attend Diablo Valley College next year, and looks forward to furthering her music education in every way she can.
MARINA BOX is a fourth year student at San Jose State University, where she majors in music education and vocal performance. She is an active member of the choral community at SJSU, and has been soprano section leader and choral librarian for the past year. Recently, Marina completed a two week tour through Europe with the San Jose State Choraliers, which culminated in a performance of Mozart’s Requiem in Estonia’s National Concert Hall. In her spare time, Marina loves to draw and bake!

After completing one year at University of California, Berkeley SIMONE MUHAMMAD is elated to be a part of CHORAL AUDACITY where she can invest in singing once again. Simone dedicated all four years of secondary education at Mt. Eden High School in Hayward, and while she does not major in Music, she can still see how far she has come in her singing career and education in summer musicianship classes at Berkeley. Meanwhile, she has set her academic and career path towards anthropology with an emphasis in archeological sciences due to her love for discovery, teaching, and history. Simone lives in Hayward with her mother, younger sister, and four cats who are just as chatty as they are, and all five of them cannot wait to hit the high Cs this concert!
